Larimar is a rare blue variety of the mineral pectolite, recognised for its beautiful ocean like colours ranging from soft sky blue to deeper turquoise tones with natural white marbling. It is found in only one place in the world, the Dominican Republic, where it forms within volcanic rock in mountainous regions near the Caribbean coast.
Its flowing patterns often resemble sunlight reflecting across tropical water, giving the stone a naturally calming and soothing presence. Larimar is often associated with peace and gentle communication, carrying an energy that feels refreshing, tranquil and uplifting.
